On the basis of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On donation of blood and its components" donors are provided with the following guarantees and compensations
Article 20. "Guarantees and compensations provided to the donor"
On the day of donation of blood and its components, as well as on the day of medical examination, the donor is released from work while maintaining his average earnings for these days.
Pupils of secondary special, vocational educational institutions, students of higher educational institutions, other categories of students on the day of donating blood and its components, as well as on the day of medical examination, are exempt from classes, and military personnel are exempt from wearing orders, watches and other forms of service.
Immediately after each day of donation of blood and its components, the donor is provided with an additional day of rest, while maintaining his average earnings. The specified day of rest, at the request of the donor, can be added to the annual labor leave.
Article 21. "Donor Encouragement"
A donor who systematically and gratuitously donates blood and its components is awarded the badge “Uzbekiston Respubliki Fakhriy Donori” (“Honorary Donor of the Republic of Uzbekistan”), Regulation No. 202 dated July 23, 2014, which is approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
In accordance with Article 21 of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On the donation of blood and its components", as well as in the development of donation of blood and its components, attracting the general population to gratuitous donation, the Cabinet of Ministers decides:
1.To approve the Regulations, description and sample of the certificate to the badge "Uzbekiston Respubliki Fakhriy Donori" ("Honorary Donor of the Republic of Uzbekistan") in accordance with Appendices No. 1, 2, 3.
2. The state production association "Davlat belgisi", at the request of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, shall ensure, in accordance with the established procedure, the production of badges "Uzbekiston Respubliki Fakhriy Donori" ("Honorary Donor of the Republic of Uzbekistan") and forms of certificates for them.
3. To approve the proposal of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan to award the badge "Uzbekiston Respubliki Fakhriy Donori" ("Honorary Donor of the Republic of Uzbekistan") to donors on June 14, the day of World Donor Day.
